He survived 3 crash landings in Europe, 1 crash landing in England, and never lost a crew member. Returning for a third tour the war ended. Jack Swayze received 2 Distinguished Flying Cross medals. “Sporty Course” a first-hand account of a pilot who flew, fought, and destroyed the Nazi Third Reich. Jack Swayze was a pilot with the 448th Bomb Group and served a 30 year career in the USAF.
